One of the things I love most about doing Commercial Interior Design projects is truly being able to add value to a space. When we were approached to provide some updates to the Rainier Medical Building, the owners originally contacted us for suggestions on fresh paint and some different lighting. Through some cost analysis research of what similar leasing space in the area was going for, we were able to show the clients that investing about 25% more money on top of the assumed budget, they would be able to ask for a higher leasing rate for the newly renovated tenant spaces and earn the money back within a year and a half! It is so rewarding to provide not only a remodel that we can be proud of as Interior Designers from an aesthetic and functionality stand point, but to design in a way that allows also our client to come out ahead financially as well!

The space was built in the 1960’s. Although it did appear that the paint had probably been updated within the last twenty years, it was certainly time for a little bit of a remodel for this building.

We were lucky to work with some of our favorite products and some wonderful vendors to make our vision transform this space into something current and indicative of the Pacific Northwest.

One of the areas I feel the most proud of is the bathrooms. A clean and minimal approach turned out to be effective and impactful.

All-in-all, we had a wonderful time working with these clients. I have a certain passion for Commercial Interior Design and Tenant Improvement projects. This particular project really allowed us to showcase what it is that makes the Pacific Northwest so beautiful by bringing the outdoors in and showcasing on of our favorite furniture designer, Bruce Hanamura with The Design Pallet‘s, stunning work.

Another company that we can’t say enough great things about, is Apex Railing Solutions, serving the Greater Seattle Area. They worked closely with us to collaborate on these beautiful railing systems to specifically suit this project.
