At Whitestone, we’re lucky enough to have years of experience to pull from to truly understand who we are as designers.  Our tenure in the industry has helped us to establish our personal design style with confidence.  We know who we are and what we do well  and that helps to ensure our clients receive exceptional service. 

We’ve worked hard to establish our five signature aesthetic foundations. Each of which defines our signature look which we then intertwine our clients personalities and preferences in order to create an outcome for the ages. The five Aesthetic Foundations are Daring Dwellings, Collected and Classic, PNW Parisian, NorthWest Nordic, and Earthy Eclectic. 

We are excited to provide you with an overview of each of them and we’re starting with the evocative and playful DARING DWELLINGS.

Here are three key takeaways of how we define this style. 

Color Palette 

Fun and whimsical. While it’s important that this design aesthetic is still grounded by a beautiful neutral foundation, this is where we have a little fun with color.  This design style maintains its “Whitestone Touch” by keeping the color palette in a tight color triad or being very unique and intentional with color.

Texture

Think stripes!  Bold, Big, Graphic prints!  Quirky Textures! This is where we intend to be evocative and playful.  While we still want our branding to be ever present and refined, we want to create a vibe and a space that’s truly one of a kind. This design aesthetic allows us to hop, skip and jump to the wild side.  Let us out of our cage already!

 Design

This should be FUN.  We keep it natural.  We keep it sophisticated, but these spaces should push a few boundaries and verge more towards an organic modern and contemporary side. This design plan should always lean into the unexpected and imperfect while still feeling high end and bespoke.
